CEN forum rules
At CENtalk, we want you to enjoy this forum, and feel safe and valued. To do that, please read and adhere to the forum rules. Please note that admin reserves the right to add new rules or amend existing ones as this forum grows and develops.
A. General
1. Treat others how you expect to be treated. Members will remain courteous to all other members including administrators.
2. While debating and discussion is fine, CENtalk does not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. The decision on what is appropriate will be made by the administration team and that decision is final.
3. Harassment of members is not tolerated. Please respect the member’s wishes if they want to be left alone. Deliberate provocation of other members or consistently high jacking threads may result in a ban.
4. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
5. Discussion of illegal activities is not allowed. Such activities include but are not limited to software and music piracy, violations of intellectual property, and illegally obtaining drugs and prescription medications.
6. While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
7. CENtalk also reserves the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the rules. Any member who receives a ban will not be able to post on the forum or to create or receive PMs. However, they are able to view both the forum and help pages of the site as a guest user.
8. The Administrators and Moderators on CENtalk provide their time free of charge to help keep the forum running smoothly. The rules related to conduct equally apply to messages sent to Administrators.
9. All of the rules outlined here also apply to Private Messaging (PMs).
B. FORUM RULES
1. Anyone using this service must be aged 13 or above.
2. This forum was created for people with CEN, or those who support people with CEN. All thread not related to CEN must be posted in the misc section.
3. CENtalk is not equipped to deal with certain subjects and as such any posts/threads relating to these may be removed.
4. Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed and includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.
5. You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
6. If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.
7. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or similar.
8. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
9. Posts that are sexual in nature or violate CENtalk community standards are not allowed. The administration team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
10. Publishing private correspondence in the public domain is a breach of CENtalk's Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act 1998. Publishing private correspondence in this way is strictly prohibited.
11. The forum is a support medium for people with CEN and not a platform for challenging the decisions of the administration team. Posts of this nature will be deleted without warning. Any grievances a member may have should be dealt with through pm’s to an administrator.
12. Whilst the administration team monitors posts, it’s impossible to find all posts that may break the rules. If you find a post that you feel breaches any of the rules please PM an Admin. Do not post in the public form. Administrators will then decide if the post should be removed.
13. If you find yourself on the receiving end of a post that you feel breaks any of the rules Do Not Reply to it, instead contact an Administrator. Replying to such posts could end up with you being banned as well as the original poster if your replies are deemed to break any of the rules.
14. CENtalk and the administration team reserves the right to remove posts and threads without notice.
C. BANS
1. From time to time members will be banned for breaking CENtalk forum rules. The bans normally only last a short period of time. CENtalk and the administration team will not enter into discussions (either in public or via pm) regarding bans.
2. Please note that if you are banned you will have to log out of the forum to be able to browse the website. Once the ban has been lifted you may login again.
3. If you are banned then it will have been for a good reason. Please serve out the ban and consider why you were banned. Any attempt to create duplicate accounts may result in an additional or permanent ban.
4. Any threads/Posts related to members being banned may be removed.
5. Bans are imposed through a process where the opinions of all administrators are sought. If a ban is imposed then it will have been a majority decision from the administrators.
D. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All messages express the views of the poster, and neither the owners of Forumotion.com or CENtalk will be held responsible for the content of any message.
2. If you have any questions regarding the privacy policy of CENtalk or require any further information please contact admin.
3. The web is not a 100% secure medium for communication and CENtalk cannot guarantee the security of any information you send to CENtalk via the web. CENtalk is not responsible for any loss or damage you or others may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information.
4. Except as provided above, CENtalk will not provide your personal information to any third party; however, under certain circumstances the force of law may require the provision of information to the legal authorities. In order to maintain the integrity of its website and safeguard the interests of its members CENtalk will comply with any such legally binding request.
5. CENtalk takes your privacy seriously and takes every reasonable precaution to safeguard the personal information you supply. Your details will be stored as you provide them.
6. The admin of CENtalk reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
